MELÝS SEZER AT AUSTRALIAN OPEN
(06.12.2009) National player Melis Sezer has gained the right to enter the main draw of the Australian Open Junior event with her rise in the rankings.
Club Ýstanbul@ENKA International Tennis Academy Tennis Player Melis Sezer, who is climbing inside the Top 100 of ITF Junior Rankings, has gained the right to play in Australian Open Junior Main Draw after her most recent success at the Eddie Herr International Tennis Tournament.

In the prestigious event in Florida, the 16-year-old started with a convincing 6-4 6-1 win over Blanka Szavay of Hungary then went on to upset 15t seed Elina Svitolina of Ukraine 6-2 2-6 7-6(5) in a gruelling battle.

The young player who gained the right to play in the first grand slam of the year, was defeated in the third round 6-2 6-2 by the third seed and eventual champion Daria Gavrilova of Russia.
