VENUS REPEATS VICTORY
(20.02.2010) Venus Williams defeated Victoria Azarenka in Dubai final to defend her title at ehe 2 million dolar event.
3rd seed and defending champion Venus Williams of USA defeated Victoria Azarenka of Belarus to defend her title at the $2 million Barclays Tennis Championshipd in Dubai, UAE.

After winning the first set 6-3 Williams was on her way to an easy win, leadng 3-1 in the second set, but Azarenka fought back to win the next three games. Both players held serve until Williams broke in the 11th game of the set and went on to win 7-5.

Williams prevailed for her 42nd WTA singles title, becoming the player with most singles titles among active players, passing Justine Henin, who has 41.
